My father once told me, “stick with what you know and love and you will never have a bad day at work.” I have always taken that to heart and what I know and love, is to be creative!
As you know Graphic Design is my staple, my main career focus, but I always find other artistic outlets to grow my creative passion. You might say I’m on an endless quest to learn, experience, experiment, and just be creative in one fashion or another. Here are a few of my creative “side” projects…
I’ve always had a passion for animation! In my childhood I made many flip-book cartoons with stick figures that were a labor of love. For quite some time I thought that I wanted to become an animator, but the tedium of the production process turned me to other artistic avenues. However, that hasn’t stopped me from loving this grand art form. My collection has greatly outgrown wall space to hang it all, so I have started a gallery blog where you can purchase your very own animation production art including cels, drawings, and background paintings, as well as memorabilia and collectibles… Go pick up something for your animation collection today!
Like most graphic artists I know, I have a great stash of t-shirt and apparel designs that are destined for pop culture products. Check out my blog and find something you like or bookmark it for great presents. You’ll find a wide range of designs including retro, cool, funny, entertainment, animation, and plenty more… Go pick out something today!
Another big passion of mine is music! I love music all kinds and I can still remember the day I got hooked. I was three years old when my father was listening to Beethoven’s fifth symphony. He sat me on his lap, put the headphones on me, and I listened to the whole thing four times back to back. There’s literally not one type of music I don’t enjoy at least one song or artist from. This is often reflected in the music I make, which starts as electronic/dance, then quickly picks up other flavors along the way to create my own signature sound… Go have a listen!
